Our team has been invited as guest speakers for an enriching workshop titled "Creative Expression and Art Therapy for Emotional Well-being." This event, designed specifically for ethnically diverse communities, focuses on Art Therapy, an evidence-based psychosocial therapy renowned for its significant benefits in improving health and mental well-being. It merges the fields of art and psychology, utilizing the power of creative expression to help individuals navigate their emotions and enhance self-understanding.

During this workshop, we aim to share with participants about the therapeutic use of art for emotional wellness. We will provide hands-on experiences that attendees can continue to practice and nurture even after the program. A significant part of our session will be dedicated to the principles of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), conveying its essence and importance.

Our objective is to promote relaxation, impart self-care skills, bolster confidence, and provide resources and information about the mental health benefits of engaging in artistic activities. This approach seamlessly integrates with the MHFA's focus on recognizing signs of mental health issues and providing initial help.
