Academic Projects

Our mental health academic projects focus on studying the mental health of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. We use scientific sampling methods to conduct surveys and interviews to understand their challenges. Our goal is to generate valuable insights, fill research gaps, and publish findings in top academic journals. We also provide evidence-based policy recommendations to bring positive change to the mental health landscape for ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the research outcomes guide our service-based initiatives in Hong Kong. The insights we gain help us design interventions, develop service content, measure effectiveness, and engage with the ethnic minority community. By combining research and service, we strive to provide comprehensive support to ethnic minority individuals and their families in Hong Kong.

Community Projects

Our mental health community projects focus on supporting ethnic minority families and elderly individuals in Hong Kong by providing targeted, culturally-sensitive support, training, and resources; as well as identifying and reaching out to those in need of assistance. Our family-oriented programs, capacity-building initiatives, and peer support groups aim to raise awareness, promote early identification of mental health issues, and create long-lasting impacts. For the ethnic minority elderly population, we bridge the gap to existing mental health services by implementing culturally appropriate programs and incentives. Our ultimate goal is to foster a supportive environment where all members of ethnic minority communities can access the mental health resources they need.
