Join us in our free interactive workshop titled "Improving Family Communication through Active Listening and Healthy Emotional Expression." This session is specifically designed for ethnic minority community families and aims to enhance your and your children's listening skills, as well as assist them in expressing their feelings in a healthy manner. Active listening can contribute to fostering a healthy and open parent-child relationship, resulting in improved communication, comprehension, and problem-solving within the family dynamic.

Moreover, it is crucial for children to develop strategies to manage their emotions effectively, enabling them to cultivate social-emotional skills. When children possess greater social and emotional awareness and proficiency, they can navigate relationships more effectively, regulate their emotions during challenging situations, and engage in problem-solving. Encouraging the open expression of positive emotions and fostering warm, supportive relationships between parents and children are key factors in promoting effective emotional self-regulation.

In addition to these topics, we will also cover mental health first aid within the session. This will provide parents with practical skills to recognize and respond to mental health issues in a safe and supportive manner.

Through the use of various engaging games and psychological techniques, we will teach you how to become a good listener and help your child identify, assess, and manage their feelings in a healthy manner. With our assistance, this transformative workshop will mark the beginning of a well-deserved journey towards establishing healthy family communication. Join us to enhance your family's communication skills and overall emotional well-being.
